“What a company stands for is key over time. We talk about, at Berkshire Hathaway, building culture all the time and culture counts. You can’t do it in a day, a week or a month. It takes time but is a terrific asset when you get it. We will be building, we already have, but it will continue grain of sand after grain of sand. Berkshire Hathaway and HomeServices together will be building on values that are the kind you can put on the front page of a newspaper and everyone associated with the company can be proud of.” – Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.

VICTOR Q: “We have included the best practices from traditional brokerage models and infused a heavy dose of modern technology to create a unique office experience. Our weekly training events in our brick and mortar location coupled with the use of live stream technology allows our agents to stay connected to the office training without actually coming in. AMIRAH S: “We have access to scripts and productivity programs from outside real estate coaches that can be very costly for an individual agent however BHHS DTLA offers them to us for free. With the BHHS Online Learn Center we are able to learn about almost anything we need for ourbusiness on our own time.”

DOWNTOWN WEEKLY: What changes in the DTLA real estate market and surrounding region do you see in store for our community in the near future?

MICHELLE Q: “DTLA is Home. In the last 5 years we have witnessed an explosion of development and the ability to navigate the city by foot. I love that my family can walk from our loft in South Park to the office in the Financial District, to my son’s school on Bunker Hill, and the Arts District for dinner. While young professionals continue to be the mainstay of the area, there is a growing push to transform DTLA into a more family-friendly neighborhood.”

VICTOR Q: “LA’s population is growing at a rapid pace in almost every neighborhood imaginable. Major infrastructure improvements are geared towards hosting the 2028 Olympic Games however there is still a lack of new residential housing builds. This lack of supply and extremely high demand for housing has kept the LA real estate market red hot for the past several years. Regardless of the economic climate, our fantastic weather, our cultural melting pot, and our California lifestyle will continue to attract new residents across the U.S. and around the world now and in the future.”
